As the first software engineer in the AI team, I developed the complete software infrastructure for AI-driven robotic applications. Successively promoted to Group Leader for AI for Manipulation in September 2021.

  • Developed deep learning-based pick-and-place systems, enabling selective grasping by fusing semantic segmentation with 3D depth data.
  • Built comprehensive human detection and collision avoidance schemes using multi-sensor fusion for safe human-robot interaction.
  • Conceptualized and developed a showcase robot for human-robot engagement (Tic-Tac-Toe).
  • Architected the software stack using C++ libraries, ROS/Gazebo, and custom device drivers.
  • Featured in international media for demonstrating AI-driven robots at GITEX 2021 in Dubai.
